WATER-BASED EMULSION FOR COLORING, BY SPRAY, OF LEATHER AND LEATHER WELTS
GUARDOFLEX is an emulsion of natural waxes bound by synthetic polymers and is used for spray coloring of leather welts or buffed leather welts. It can be supplied in the transparent and semi-covering version. The dried film is shiny, elastic, non-sticky and adherent.
It is applied by spray with an airbrush (hole diameter 1.2 mm, operating pressure around 4 atm) on leather welts or frosted leather. The appearance of the film can be made even more beautiful by applying a second coat of collodion-based lacquer over the welt, already colored with GUARDOFLEX. In this case, a shiny and full-bodied surface is obtained which is partially resistant to solvents.
For particular types of leather or leather that are difficult to color, it is useful to apply a COLORPEL base coat in the same shade as the finishing colour.
