SYNTHETIC NATURAL WAXES MELTED TOGETHER WITH INORGANIC FILLERS AND PIGMENTS
They are solid tiles of abrasive wax, sold in special trays weighing about gr. 700. Formulated with precious natural waxes, organic and inorganic pigments and very fine abrasives.
Mainly used as a smoothing abrasive for the bottom of buffed and colored leather soles. The abrasive action, combined with the polishing action of the waxes, equalizes and gives brilliance to the previously applied dye film. It is applied to the rotating wire cloth (brush rotation speed no more than 1,000 rpm) and, subsequently, the sole is demoulded.
